MANUFACTURED ON STANDARDS
IEC 61439
IEC 61439 is a series of international standards that govern the design, construction, testing, and operation of low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. The standard is issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and applies to electrical switchgear assemblies that operate at up to 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC. It is widely used in the electrical industry for ensuring safety, reliability, and compatibility of switchgear and controlgear systems. The IEC 61439 series is important because it provides a set of rules to design switchboards, panelboards, and other control systems, ensuring they function effectively and safely in various environments. The series is broken down into different parts that focus on specific aspects of switchgear assemblies.
